The Leaky Momma is Lexington Kentucky’s original handmade lactation cookie company. Serving Lexington and surrounding areas starting in 2020 as a home-baking service, which moved into a brick and mortar in July of 2024. In 2026, The Leaky Momma had an ownership change and became part of the Lexington Baking Collective. Our goal is to help moms produce their finest liquid gold by serving high quality, delicious handmade lactation treats that are also delicious for the whole family.

What are lactation cookies?

Lactation cookies are regular cookies made with natural ingredients (not breast milk) to promote a better milk supply in nursing/pumping mothers!

They are all freshly baked (with love!) and individually wrapped for long lasting freshness!

They also freeze extremely well! Place directly in the freezer (in a freezer-safe container or bag) and when you're ready to eat, take out and thaw for 30-60 minutes and ENJOY!

Types of lactation treats we offer:

Original Variety Milkies: Cookies that do not include fancy toppings.

Fancy Variety Milkies: Seasonal and permanent cookies that include glazes, sprinkles and other fancy toppings.

Blondies/Brownies: A variety of multilayered bars that still include the same amount of milk making ingredients you all love! (Seasonal options that change quite often so be sure to visit the store, website or call in and see whats in store for the day!)

Smoothie Grains: A mixture of the three milk making ingredients we use, blended to a powder to make adding into your morning smoothie a charm!
